Our History



Blentech Corporation has been serving the chemical industry for over forty years processing, warehousing, and selling a wide variety of chemicals. Processing includes packaging (primarily the filling of drums and totes), blending and warehousing of customer materials.

 

Blentech Started with three men in a 3,000 square foot building in July, 1978, blending dry powders and lube oil products.  Today it occupies a 40,000 square foot warehouse on 9.6 acres of land with a private rail siding.


Filling of drums with chemicals began as a sideline and has grown to approximately 100,000 drums per year. In addition to the filling of 55-gallon drums we also have the capability to fill totes up to 550 gallons.


The first liquid blending tank was installed in 1980 and we currently blend more than 5,000,000 gallons per year. We have 8 stainless steel, 5,500-gallon blend tanks. The majority of the blends are water-based materials, but we also offer oil base products  for the process industry as well.


We ship and receive in excess of 100,000,000 pounds annually. We have a rail siding serviced by the Union Pacific Railroad that enables us to both ship and receive rail shipments. We can do truck- tank car transfers, drum materials from tank car, trans load blended materials into tank cars or load dry material into hopper trucks.
